Have You Heard About Rapid Action Profits?

The Rapid Action Profits script is a sales system for selling digital products online. What this means, is that if you have a digital product such as an ebook, an audio file (mp3, etc.) a php (or other language) script, a computer program, or even a video, Rapid Action Profits can accept payment from a customer, and then automatically deliver their purchase to them. Rapid Action Profits (aka RAP) is installed by uploading it to your hosting account, and then completing a short series of steps.

The instructions for installing RAP are explained in a user manual that is easy to understand. When installation is complete, setting up a product to sale is next. Inside the Rapid Action Profits administration panel (which you’ll have seen upon installation) is a section where you add products for sale. It is within this section that you set pricing, affiliate percentages, and several other options.

Inside the RAP admin area is where you setup how much you want to sell your product for. This can be advantageous for a couple of reasons. You may be considering a limited time “launch” of your ebook (or whatever other digital product) at a special “launch” price. You could set a higher price at the conclusion of the “launch” and perhaps offer a “coupon discount” to affiliates promoting your product.

OTO’s, or one time offers, are something else RAP has built in. You’ve made a sale of your product, and while your customer is in a buying mood, you can display an upsell for a related product. With this option available, you could actually offer the “front-end” product at a significantly lower price, and then use the OTO to grow your profits by having the related product at a higher (or lower, your choice) price.

List building functionality is built into the RAP system as well. RAP integrates with most all autoresponder systems, including aweber, getresponse, and parabots. You have the choice to allow your customer to choose to opt-in to your list, or you can do this automatically with RAP’s automatic opt-in feature. This uses the Paypal email address of the customer and automatically submits it to your autoresponder service.

Managing affiliates is another important part of the Rapid Action Profits sales system. With this feature, instead of your affiliates waiting “forever” for their payments like other programs make them do, they get PAID INSTANTLY into their Paypal account with each qualifying sale. Set up your commission percentages for your affiliates, and every time they make a sale money gets made!

The author has heard from many people asking about Rapid Action Profits and urges those who wish to learn more to visit http://rapsimple.com where you can see it in action.

About GPS

Global Positioning System

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is the only fully functional Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Utilizing a constellation of at least 24 medium Earth orbit satellites that transmit precise microwave signals, the system enables a GPS receiver to determine its location, speed/direction, and time.

Developed by the United States Department of Defense, it is officially named NAVSTAR GPS (Contrary to popular belief, NAVSTAR is not an acronym, but simply a name given by Mr. John Walsh, a key decision maker when it came to the budget for the GPS program[1]). The satellite constellation is managed by the United States Air Force 50th Space Wing. The cost of maintaining the system is approximately US0 million per year,[2] including the replacement of aging satellites, and research and development. Despite these costs, GPS is free for civilian use as a public good.

GPS has become a widely used aid to navigation worldwide, and a useful tool for map-making, land surveying, commerce, and scientific uses. GPS also provides a precise time reference used in many applications including scientific study of earthquakes, and synchronization of telecommunications networks.

Simplified method of operation

A GPS receiver calculates its position by measuring the distance between itself and three or more GPS satellites. Measuring the time delay between transmission and reception of each GPS microwave signal gives the distance to each satellite, since the signal travels at a known speed – the speed of light. These signals also carry information about the satellites’ location and general system health (known as almanac and ephemeris data). By determining the position of, and distance to, at least three satellites, the receiver can compute its position using trilateration.[3] Receivers typically do not have perfectly accurate clocks and therefore track one or more additional satellites, using their atomic clocks to correct the receiver’s own clock error.

[edit] System segmentation

The current GPS consists of three major segments. These are the space segment (SS), a control segment (CS), and a user segment (US).[4]

[edit] Space segment

The space segment (SS) is composed of the orbiting GPS satellites, or Space Vehicles (SV) in GPS parlance. The GPS design calls for 24 SVs to be distributed equally among six circular orbital planes.[5] The orbital planes are centered on the Earth, not rotating with respect to the distant stars.[6] The six planes have approximately 55° inclination (tilt relative to Earth’s equator) and are separated by 60° right ascension of the ascending node (angle along the equator from a reference point to the orbit’s intersection).[2]

Orbiting at an altitude of approximately 20,200 kilometers (12,600 miles or 10,900 nautical miles; orbital radius of 26,600 km (16,500 mi or 14,400 NM)), each SV makes two complete orbits each

How to Study and Learn About Philosophy

Almost anyone can philosophize with no formal training or experience. It simply consists of questioning and wondering about the foundational aspects of the universe and ourselves, including metaphysics, knowledge, morality, and religion. Nonetheless, if philosophy interests you, you may want to study it and learn more about it, which in turn will improve your philosophical abilities. Let me suggest some ways to study philosophy.

School – You can go to school for philosophy. That will give you a very formal education in philosophy. Additionally, you will get a degree which can help you in life. However, school usually costs a lot. If you plan to go to school, you may want to go for something more practical than philosophy. A philosophy degree will not open up as much career paths as other degrees. In addition to costing a lot, going to school can take a lot of your time. If you have a tight schedule, you may not have time to go to school.

Library – If you want to study philosophy, you can just go to the library instead of going to school. Without the cost, you can find and read books just the same, and you can get the same research done. Of course, you will not get a degree from just going to the library. But you will have the chance to read as many philosophy books as you can for practically no cost.

The Internet – Nowadays, the internet has put all the information you can get from a school or library right at your fingertips. You can use online encyclopedias, search engines, and other websites to find all sorts of free information. In fact, you may find yourself learning more at home in front of your computer than you would in a classroom. You can find biographies of major philosophers in an instant, for example.

Discussing Philosophy – Perhaps, you can best develop your knowledge of philosophy by discussing it. Unlike just reading books by philosophers, you can interact with other people when actually having discussions. So you can ask questions to other people, and your can propose your own ideas. Getting feedback on your own explanations of your own philosophical ideas will probably help you learn philosophy better than any formal education could. You can discuss philosophy in real life or on the internet.

As you can see, you have many options for learning about philosophy and developing your philosophical abilities. You may find other ways too.

Whatever you do, good luck and have fun!

Scott Hughes maintains a philosophy club at OnlinePhilosophyClub.com with free information about philosophy. You can discuss philosophy at the Philosophy Forums. It’s completely free, and it’s a great way to learn more about philosophy.

All About Tarot

Tarot Card Reading

By Tina Chowhan

Tarot, there are many different theories on how Tarot works!

Some believe that God or some higher power delivers a sort of universal knowledge via the cards.

Another theory, the theory of synchronicity, suggests that some almost mystical ‘power’ or natural law or principle provides you with the information you most need at any one time, and tarot cards, being so visually descriptive and fundamental in their meanings, are a good medium to receive this information.

Some believe that the Tarot cards have absolutely no ‘fortune telling’ ability, but rather the person asking the questions selectively interprets the cards to fit their life situation, and gains value in doing so.

Its different how each one thinks, but I believe that Tarot readings can help provide you with a clear reflection of your past, present and future projections, and help you to reflect on your experiences, and hence gain a fresh prospective on your life. You do not have to have “psychic powers” to use the tarot successfully. All you need is the willingness to honor and develop your natural intuition.

I feel very attached to the Tarot as it opened the way for my intuition to do its job. The Tarot can certainly offer advice as well as a potential outcome based on the energies surrounding a situation. The cards can shed light on how we can achieve the best out of a situation, gain clarity and possibly motivate us at times when we are inclined to give up.

Introduction

Originally Tarot cards were used as part of a game, just as we use normal playing cards nowadays. However in the late 1700′s, the cards were believed to be an opening into the world of the occult. Later on, tarot became the most commonly viewed tool for divination.

A traditional tarot reading involves a seeker – someone who is looking for answers to personal questions – and a reader – someone who knows how to interpret the cards. After the seeker has shuffled and cut the deck, the reader lays out the chosen cards in a pattern called a spread. Each position in the spread has a meaning, and each card has a meaning as well. The reader combines these two meanings to shed light on the seeker’s question.

Tarot Decks

A Tarot deck is a deck of 78 cards. It is divided into the Major Arcana with 22 cards and a Minor Arcana with 56 cards. The Major Arcana has individual cards, which differ greatly from each other. They are usually numbered 0 to 21.

The Minor Arcana is divided into four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords and Coins. Each suit has four Court Cards, which are Page, Knight, King and Queen. The numbered cards are 2 to 10 and Ace.

Tarot decks are used for a number of purposes. The most well known is divination. Other common uses are meditation and self-improvement.

My Experience with Tarot Cards

After I did my Post Graduation in Tarot Reading, I started practicing Tarot Cards regularly. Once I got the set of cards that interests me, and started meditating and divination with them, I started developing a natural intuition within myself, which helped me become what I am

Secrets on How to Grow Taller – Short Man must Know About it

www.lenonhonorfilms.com Play list: www.youtube.com

For sociologists, such as Saul Feldman, your height ultimately gives credence to the kind of life you will live.

In Feldman’s paper, entitled “The presentation of shortness in everyday life – height and heightism in American Society: Towards a Sociology of Stature” which he presented to the American Sociological Association in 1971, he coined the term heightism, which was to mean the proliferation of a kind of discrimination based on height, “the presence of a prejudiced attitude about human height that results in discrimination – it is based on the belief that short stature is an inferior trait and therefore undesirable”.

Indeed, if you were to glean over this subject matter, you would, in some way, concur with Feldman and conclude that for the most part, he has not been erroneous in his views. Evidence of this is everywhere – in most professional sports such as tennis, basketball and volleyball, in fashion modeling such as Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, America’s Next Top Model etc., in business (a survey conducted by Fortune magazine in 2005 revealed that most CEOs in its Fortune 500 list were on “average 6 ft tall, which is approximately 4 inches taller than the average American man”) and even in dating (for some people, height is “a major factor in sexual attractiveness and that quantitative studies of women-for-men personal advertisements have shown strong preference for tall men, with a large percentage indicating that a man significantly below average height was unacceptable.”)

And, now, on a lighter note, you might be asking, are there secrets on growing taller or exercises which could enable you to improve your height (possibly gain even an inch or two) in order for you to avoid being a subject of inadvertent and inevitable discrimination?

While you may already know that height is predominantly a matter of genetics, there are stretching exercises which you could perform to improve your height and your posture as well:

1. Hanging

It has been emphasized that hanging increases a person’s height by one to two inches. It allows the “weight of your lower torso to stretch your spine and reduce the tension between your vertebrae.”

2. Dry Land Swim

Also known as “the Alternate Leg Kick, this exercise focuses on your lower back.” It helps lengthen your spine as a result of the opposing forces caused by your arms stretching in one direction and your legs kicking in the other.

3. Pelvic Shift

In this exercise, you will quickly feel the stretching that occurs up and down your spine and in your hips. you will “begin this exercise by lying on your back with your shoulders and arms planted on the floor. Then, make an effort to bend your knees and draw your feet as close to your buttocks as you can. Next, you’ll need to arch your back so that your pelvis thrusts upward.

Indeed, given the importance ascribed by society to height, a shorter stature can sometimes be erroneously considered a liability, hence, it is important to measure up to your maximum height, in order for you to, ultimately, live out your life as you deem it best.

Rafael Blake Robinson is a very curious writer who wants to explore the truth behind height
