Magick with Poppets is usually done when you are directing a spell at a specific person (hopefully with their permission, and never to affect their free will). For example, spells for healing, loosing weight, protection, and love (remember, you must have their permission!). Creating a Poppet is very simple. All you need is some cloth (or fabric) in a color that feels right for the spell you are trying to cast. Poppets are created in such a way where you can stuff them with special herbs depending on the spell you are casting. If you are doing some form of Love Magick for instance, you would stuff the poppet with Love herbs mentioned in the Herb section. (you may even include a photo of a person who has given you permission to do the spell on, or one of their hairs, etc) You would then cleanse and consecrate the poppet for the four elements, before using the poppet in a spell. If you ever cast a spell using a poppet, remember that to end the spell (if you ever want to), you simply need to caste a circle, and take apart the poppet within the circle to remove the effects of the spell. In my Witchcraft Home Academy In-A-Box, I show you exactly how to create poppets (it is very hard to describe without showing you) in the DVDs – and includes step-by-step demonstrations of how to consecrate poppets and other Magick tools. And of course, I will walk you through some very powerful poppet spells that have brought me some amazing results. Now I want to tell you all about using Mirrors in your Magick. Though they aren’t used quite as much as some of the other tools, their use can create results that other tools can’t (such as the ability to see into the future in certain divination spells and rituals). Not only are they used in Divination and Scrying (both discussed earlier in this book), but if a mirror is consecrated and blessed under a full moon it can be used to reflect negative energy – creating one of the strongest barriers for protection. And it also works for positive energy. If someone sends positive Magick (or simple positive “thoughts”) in your direction – not only will they be beneficial to you, but your mirrors will reflect this positive energy back to the sender. There are also many spells that incorporate mirrors to bring inner beauty to the surface for the entire word to see – making you more attractive to other people in every single way. (and yes, some of the Mirror Magick will attract romantic prospects into your life) Lastly, there are some advanced forms of home protection spells that use mirrors. One of the most powerful protection spells incorporates both Candle Magick and Mirror Magick. Even though it’s not that complicated, I decided not to show the steps here. It is important for you to actually see the spell being done in a demonstration. I would never want you to be in a situation where you do the spell on your own without any guidance – and think your home is protected, and be completely unaware that it is not protected at all!

There are several different types of magic in the world of Runescape. Which branch of powerful spells a player uses depends on several things. Ancient Magicks can only be used by players who pay the monthly membership fee, and even then, they must complete the Desert Treasure quest. Players may only use one type of magick at a time.
Players gain access to the Ancient Magicks by praying inside the pyramid. Once they do so, they can use Ancient Magicks but not normal spells—they have to pray again to switch back. Praying drains away all of a player’s prayer points. Note that the first time a player travels through the pyramid; they must go through the entire area. However, once they reach the altar, they’ll gain the ability to use the shortcut to get directly to the altar from outside, saving a lot of time.
Types of Ancient Magicks
Ancient Magicks come in two types: teleport spells and damage spells. Spells can also be broken down by element. A few spells have restrictions on them. For example, Miasmic spells can only be cast by players who have Zuriel’s Staff equipped.
» Blood spells heal the player and damage the enemy.
» Ice spells freeze and hurt the target.
» Shadow spells damage the target and lower their attack power.
» Smoke spells damage and poison the target.
» Miasmic spells damage the target and lowers its melee and ranged attack power.
There are also four different classes of spells:
Rush spells do high damage to a single target.
Blitz spells do very high damage to a single target.
Burst spells do high damage to enemies in a 3 x 3 area.
Barrage spells do very high damage to all enemies in a 3 x 3 area.
Ancient Magick Spells
Players can open their spell books to view all of the Ancient Magick spells that they know. These spells use more runes than normal spells, so players should be careful about using Ancient Magick over and over. These magicks do give experience like normal spells, plus players receive two magic experience for each point of damage they do with Ancient Magick spells.
Some of the Ancient Magick spells are listed below.
Home Teleport – teleports the player to Edgeville. No runes are required for this teleport spell, but players can only cast it once every 30 minutes.
Shadow Rush – lowers an enemy’s attack by 10% plus does damage.
Ice Rush – Damages the enemy and freezes it for five seconds.
Smoke Burst – Poisons the enemy.
Blood Burst – Heals the player for 25% of the damage done to the enemy.
Miasmic Burst – Slows all ranged and melee attacks by half for 24 seconds.
The Ancient Staff
Players don’t have to equip the ancient staff to use Ancient Magicks, but it certainly helps. It is the only item in the game that can auto cast Ancient Magicks, plus it provides a very nice +15 bonus to magic attacks. Players must first buy the ancient staff from Eblis for 80,000 gold pieces. Once they have purchased one, they can get another ancient staff by killing mummies in the ancients pyramid.

Black magick works out to be the most beautiful thing in the life of a magickian despite it being given the tag of being black. Black magick is usually used to cast negative spells on individuals. Tiger’s eye is a mystical looking gemstone that resembles a cat’s (domestic and exotic) eye. It is covered with colored stripes of red, brown and golden yellow. Basic Candle Magick Spell for Protection from Negativity

Alexandra has been dating a man named Robert for two months. At first, everything was great between the two of them. He was romantic, kind, gentle, and easy to get along with. Additionally, he had a natural leadership quality about him which really drew Alexandra in. Now, though, things aren’t so great. Alexandra feels that Robert has become very controlling. Additionally, he always seems so depressed and negative every time she ends up around him. Alexandra wants Robert to either leave her alone or, minimally, be in a better mood when the two are around each other. Additionally, Alexandra would like to end their relationship, but she wants to do so as peacefully as possible. The question is, what can Alexandra do to help this manifest in her life?
The previous is but one of many examples of time periods in our lives where we find ourselves desiring to keep negative people away from us or, even better, work to help them help themselves.
Here is a simple and safe candle spell ritual a person can do to help protect from negativity generated by other people. Though simple, this is still a powerful spell. As with all magick, it’s important that one is in the right frame of mind prior to working with it. The easiest way to get into the proper state of mind is to mediate or relax without interruptions for five to ten minutes before beginning this spell.
You’ll need a white candle, some aluminum foil, and a knife.
Step One: Begin by carving into the white candle the name of the person whom you want to defend against. As you carve, make sure you place your intent into the candle by focusing your mind on the idea that this person will have no further effect on you.
Step Two: Wrap the candle in the aluminum foil, shiny side facing in. This puts a protective shield around the person. The aluminum foil will reflect whatever energy the person puts out right back toward them. This is a white magick approach to protection as the person still has free will to decide if they want to put out positive or negative energy.
Step Three: Hold the candle in your right hand and send white light through the top of your crown center (head) down through your arms and into the candle. As you do this, visualize the person not being able to come around you when they are in a negative mood.
Step Four: Put the wrapped candle into the freezer and leave it. Do not remove it until you’re ready to break the spell. This action “freezes” the person with the protective shield reflecting their own energy back to and around them.
This is a great spell for beginners. Not only will the person putting out negative energy be zapped by their own negativity, but when they choose to give off positive energy they will be zapped with that as well. Done properly, this spell can actually serve as a means of training another person to have only positive thoughts when within your presence.
Alexandra tried this spell and she found she didn’t have to deal with negative and controlling Robert any longer. This enabled her to breakup as peacefully as possible and move forward with her life. Other people have used this spell to keep annoying relatives away from weddings, birthday
